The EC (electronically commutated) motor is based on the well
known outer pole motor from EBM PAPST. In this kind of motors
the technology from the EC motor and the regulation are
integrated in the IEC motor housing.
Because of the quiet stepless speed control, this EC motor is
ideal for controlling fans and pumps. The regulation is integrated
into the housing, so there are no additional measures needed for
the wiring of the motor. This Electro commutating motor is the
perfect replacement for the motor with a single frequency converter.
