Electric motors are produced for shipbuilding for below and on deck. These motors are based on ambient temperatures up to 55° C and have to meet standards set by ship classification agencies. Electric motors from Kolmer meet standards set by the American Bureau of Shipping, Germanischer Lloyd, Lloyd's Register of Shipping, Det Norske Veritas, Bureau Veritas and many other classification agencies.
Kolmer supplies special motors for ship building and offshore, like bow thrusters, winch motors, crane motors and underwater motors.
