After studying Electrical Engineering, Barry worked for a number of companies in the region. When he saw a video of Kolmer online, his interest was piqued. “The best move I could have made,” is how he describes the switch. Barry started in the workshop in September 2017 after which he moved on from inside staff to outside staff. “I’ve put my best foot forward and worked hard. If you want something at Kolmer you get the chance to do it and I like that very much. I followed a number of courses and meanwhile completed the account management course.” Barry is a very ambitious and driven colleague who wants to further his career. Energetic and spirited, with a real winner’s mentality. Barry wants to do the best he can and in doing so strives for excellent results. He enjoys the variety in his work and the contact with customers. “Finding the right solution for a customer while giving them just that little bit extra, that’s what I like. I think you should have a goal as it helps you to move forward. I want to improve my results every year. Kolmer is in full development and I am working hard to achieve our goals. If we all go for it, we can get very far!”
Barry lives in Putten with his wife and two young daughters. He loves sports, running and fitness, and enjoys his family. Barry does his work with great enthusiasm and pleasure and is proud of the development he has made over the past two and a half years. “Kolmer gives me space and appreciation for what I do. They’re a very compassionate employer which you don’t see that often.”
