Back in elementary school, he already told his teacher that he wanted to become a car mechanic. Many elementary school subjects, in his eyes, were completely unnecessary. Of course, he made that clear regularly. His major hobby has always been tinkering with cars throughout his life. He also enjoys watching his girlfriend's horse riding competitions. When asked if he has any other hobbies, he jokingly says: uh, walking the fish? Technology is just his passion. Period.
After finishing secondary school, he had only one goal in mind. Working as a car mechanic. Through a combination of work and study (vocational education), he learned all the ins and outs of the trade. But he wanted to further develop himself. Coming up with solutions to customer inquiries. Becoming an expert in a specific technical direction. However, that is less common in automotive technology. That was his reason for applying to Kolmer electric motors.
When asked how he feels about working at Kolmer now, he says, "I feel at home here, you can be who you are. Nice and down to earth, no nonsense. We do it together, nobody is more or less. I feel like the whole company works this way. I didn't expect that from a medium-sized company like Kolmer. The flat organization where everyone is accessible, from director to cleaner. All on the same ship with the same goal in mind. It has pleasantly surprised me."
